Trades Days in Texas are all around the state and offer a great opportunity to see what other people have made, grown, and sell. At these events, you can also find food vendors, crafts, antiques, and live music.

• First Monday Trade Days – Canton, Texas

800 First Monday Lane, Canton, TX

Located just outside of Dallas is one of the most popular markets in Texas. With over 5,000 vendors,  Canton Trade Days is a great place to buy and sell all types of goods. You can find new and used items, antiques, crafts, fashion vendors, and more. There are nice restrooms throughout. For a list of vendors at Canton Trade Days, visit First Monday Canton.

Years ago, my mom and I bundled ourselves up and trekked there in January. It was cold, but we got some hot chocolate to warm us up and mostly shopped inside buildings with heat. I remember finding some unique for my house and garden.

When:  Always the weekend before the first Monday of every month.

Hours: Dawn to Dusk, Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun

Admission: Free

Parking: There is free and paid parking available all around the grounds. Free parking may be hard to find, but it’s there. I have yet to pay for parking.

• Third Monday McKinney Trade Days

Formally known as Third Monday Trade Days, Third Monday McKinney Trade Days have new owners and run the trade days with little eruption. It features over 1000 vendors, including small local businesses selling artisan wares, antiques, trendy clothes, and food.

When: The weekend before the third Monday of every Month. trucks.
Admission:  Free
Hours: 9 am to 4 pm Fri/Sat/Sun – 5 pm on Sat/Sun

Parking: $5 on Saturday/Sunday until 4 p.m. Parking is FREE on Fridays and AFTER 4 p.m. on Sat-Sun.

Things To Do In McKinney

• First Monday Trade Days Weatherford

317 Santa Fe Dr., Weatherford, TX

Located in the heart of the historic district of Weatherford, adjacent to the local farmer’s market with convenient parking on Santa Fe Drive, First Monday Trade Days has been recognized as one of the most popular tourist attractions in North Texas.

When: Always the weekend before the first Monday of every month.

Admission: Free

Hours: 9 am to 4 pm Sat/Sun

Parking: It doesn’t mention parking, but parking was free the last time I was there.

 Things To Do In Weatherford

• Fredericksburg Trade Days

355 Sunday Farms Lane, Fredericksburg, TX

The excitement of Fredericksburg Trade Days at Sunday Farms is contagious and one of my favorite trade days. I try to go to the hill country on a trade days weekend. It’s near the Pedernales River, Lavender trails, and Enchanted Rock. And very close to all the wineries!

Enjoy bier (beer) in the Biergarten at Trade Days while listening to live music at the Trade Days.
When: Always the 3rd weekend of every Month with a Special Thanksgiving Show.
Hours: Fri/Sat 9 am – 5 pm. Sunday 9-4
Admission: Free

Parking: $5 for all weekend if you want to return.

Things To Do In Fredericksburg

• Buffalo Gap Flea Market (West Texas – Abilene)

100 Vine Street, Buffalo Gap, TX

The Buffalo Gap Flea Market and the Buffalo Gap Farmer’s Market are held simultaneously. It’s an eclectic market with a mix of crafts, jewelry, household goods, toys, games, and new & used items of all kinds. Find food, seasonal items, decor, tools, treasures, and trinkets.
If you’re looking to find some fantastic deals on antiques and collectibles, Buffalo Gap trade days may be the place to find them.
When: The weekend of the third Saturday of each Month at the Old Settlers Reunion Grounds
Hours: 8 am – 5 pm Sat/Sun
Admission & Parking: Free

Things To Do In Buffalo Gap

• Second Monday Trade Days Trade City Bowie

414 Pelham St., Bowie, Texas

The Bowie Trade Days is a 125-year-old outdoor market that is still strong! People come from around the metroplex to see the unique vendors and enjoy the food.

When: The weekend before the second Monday of every month.

Hours: 8 am to 5 pm Sat. Sun 8-4

Admission: Free. It didn’t mention parking, but I believe there is no cost to parking. If so, it’s reasonable.

Things To Do In Bowie, TX

• Third Monday Trade Days at Southfork Ranch – Plano

Outdoor trade days at Southfork Ranch – south of the mansion at Gate 5. Summer months are held inside.

Address: 3700 Hogge Dr, Parker, TX

Friday – Sunday weekend after the 3rd Monday of every month from 10 am to 5 pm.

Admission: $5 cash only. Parking is free.
