Antiques, boutiques, and more of the same are found in Round Top year-round.

Round Top, one of Central Texas’s most precious small towns, is well known as the largest antiques festival in the area, which anchors a year‑round lineup of curated shops, galleries, and markets. No matter the time of year you visit, overnight options make it easy to stay close to it all, whether you prefer boutique hotels or charming cottages. Here are several places to stay in Round Top, all offering convenient access to the town’s markets, events, and dining. I’ve stayed at the first one!

6 Top Places To Stay in Round Top

1. The Frenchie Boutique Hotel

The stylish Frenchie Boutique Hotel is such a precious place to stay. I stayed in the quaint cabin near the pool. It had a comfy bed, the coolest shower, couch, lots of lighting, bamboo shades, a large bathroom, and a back door to the pool. I love my 2-night stay!!

5. Wander Inn

The eclectic Wander Inn is located on the Junk Gypsy grounds and is a soulful, story‑rich boutique created by the Junk Gypsies, two girls with a dream. A blend of Texas heritage and a rustic boho vibe makes this place the perfect getaway for the free-spirited. Grab a porch rocker and reminisce under the stars with your favorite people. And, each day you’re there, you’ll get fresh homemade biscuits.

Ellis Motel

Located in Henkel Square, Ellis Motel serves as a lounge (not a motel at all). But a cool place to hang out after shopping. It opens at noon through the middle of October. The emporium inside has art and furniture that is for sale. It’s part of what makes Henkel Square so quaint.

Lulu’s Round Top

Fancy, uh? Don’t worry if you’re not – I wore my jeans and felt very comfortable. Lulu’s Round Top is located inside Hotel Lulu.

When I arrived, I was the first one there, but before long, the table on the far left was full, and the table on the far right was booked for a family. It got busy real quick!

Lulu’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all week long. Dinners are elevated and perfect with your favorite bottle of vino.

Round Top is a destination where history, style, and hospitality come together in a distinctly Texas way. If you haven’t been, put this adorable small town on your to-visit list. There are plenty of other places to stay in Round Top, but these were at the top of our list.
