Texas has diverse cultures and terrain and will have significant celebrations this summer. Texas towns and cities have never shied away from lighting up the sky with the beautiful combustion of fireworks for entertainment for all. Community gatherings, parades, live music, and festivals are all to share in the patriotic spirit.

Houston 4th Of July Celebrations

The city has celebrations planned for this year’s Fourth of July

• Freedom Over Texas Festival – Houston

Houston’s Freedom Over Texas Festival will be held at Eleanor Tinsley Park at Buffalo Bayou. It will feature live entertainment, food booths, and a fireworks display. Starts around 4 pm.

• Star-Spangled Salute – Miller Outdoor Theatre – Houston

The Houston Symphony continues its annual celebration Star-Spangled Salute at Hermann Park’s Miller Outdoor Theatre. July 4th, 8:30 pm, with a fireworks finale at 10 pm. Tickets go on sale in June. All outdoor celebrations are free.

• Star-Spangled Salute – The Woodlands

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands offers fireworks and the Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute. FREE

• Pearland – Celebration Of Freedom

Pearland will have its Celebration of Freedom on July 4th at Independence Park from 6- 10 pm. Expect live music and fun! No pets allowed. All ages plus vendors will be there.

• Kemah Boardwalk

Kemah Boardwalk will offer live music and fireworks at its 4th of July Celebration over Galveston Bay on July 4th at 9:30 pm. Look for the Patriot Pass, too.

• Baytown

Baytown celebrates its July 4th Festival 3rd & 4th at Bicentennial Park.

 

 

East Texas 4th of July

• Longview Fireworks & Freedom Celebration

Longview’s annual Fireworks and Freedom Celebration will be held on July 4th at the Longview Convention Complex, opens at 4 p.m., and starts at 6:30 p.m. FREE.

• Tyler Freedom Fighter 5K

6th Annual Freedom Fighter 5K & Lil’ Firecracker Kid’s Dash – Tyler, TX.

• Lake Jacksonville Fireworks

Lake Jacksonville July 4th Fireworks  – on July 4th from 11 am to 10 pm.

 

Dallas/Fort Worth 4th of July

• Dallas Fair Park 4th

In Dallas, expect a parade, live music from local bands and DJs,  food vendors, and more.

Fair Park Fourth – FREE

Klyde Warren Park Independence Day Celebration – FREE

Fort Worth Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion July 4th – Gates open at 5 p.m. FREE!

Fort Worth Stockyards’ Red, White & Boots Music Festival features live Texas music, beer, food trucks, yard games, local vendors, armadillo races, and more for four fun days!

• Addison Kaboom Town

Addison Kaboom Town will continue its legacy as one of the best fireworks shows in the country. The airshow will be at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m.

• Frisco Freedom Fest

Frisco Freedom Fest will be held on July 3 & 4 at Frisco Square.

• Flower Mound Independent Fest

Independent Fest in Flower Mound at Bakersfield Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. FREE. Headliner – _____________________.

• Granbury 4th of July 

Granbury Chamber’s Hometown 4th of July Parade and Celebration on July 4th at 9 am.

• Irving’s Independence Day Celebration

Sparks & Stripes Independence Day Celebration on July 4th at Irving Heritage District & Levy Event Plaza

The parade starts at 9 am. Free. Parking is free. The shuttle is $10.

• McKinney 4th of July

4th Of July Celebrations In Texas continue with McKinney’s Red, White, and BOOM! It is set for July 4, starts downtown with a parade and block party, and resumes at McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch.

• Plano 4th of July

Plano has two days planned for the Fourth of July, starting with the Patriotic Concert. at Haggard Park and Plano’s All-American 4th Festival at Collin College. Check out Plano’s Events.

• Waxahachie 4th Festival

Waxahachie has been designated the Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas. And during July, you can experience this phenomenal flower that blooms in the most oppressive climates. Nothing like combining the Waxahachie Crape Myrtle Festival and Parade with the Fourth of July! Festivities include a tailgate party, concert, fireworks display, kids’ zone, and many pretty crape myrtles. Check out the Waxahachie Chamber for more information and two days of fun.

• Weatherford 4th of July

Spark In The Park in Weatherford – 4th of July with Pat Green from 6-10 p.m. at the Heritage Park Amphitheater.

• Grapevine July 4th

Look for Grapevine’s July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza at Grapevine Lake.

Austin Area July 4th Celebrations

• Austin 4th of July

The City of Austin has a full day of events planned for its annual 4th of July celebration. Events include a parade, a concert, and an evening concert. It will feature food vendors and local artists.

There are a couple of places celebrating the 4th in Austin.

• Bastrop 4th of July Celebration

Bastrop’s First Annual Big Bang! Celebration, July 1st. The celebration starts with the Bastrop Stampede 5K and Kids Mile at 8 am. The Pet and Pal Parade begins at 10 am, after which Bastrop’s historic Main Street hosts a cornhole tournament. See it all on its website.

• Round Rock July 4th Parade

Round Rock’s Sertoma July 4th Parade and Frontier Days on July 4, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

 

San Antonio Area Celebrates 4th of July

• San Antonio Independence Day Celebrations

SA always brings its colorful flair to any celebration. From fiestas to jubilees, this Texas town will not be outdone in patriotic partying.

There is no better place to celebrate Independence Day than the Alamo. Texas Fest will be in the Alamo Garden, 300 Alamo Plaza.

San Antonio’s second-most famous landmark has to be the Riverwalk. The Bud Light Stars, Stripes & Lights on the River Walk, San Antonio.

• Gonzales Star-Spangled Spectular

Gonzales, TX Star-Spangled Spectular on 4th of July. Celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks show in South Central Texas, hosted by Gonzales Main Street.

• Seguin 4th of July Festival

Made In America Festival & Concert. Daytime Market starts at Noon-5 p.m. with over 60 local artists and makers crafting unique items Made In America! Food Trucks, LIVE Music, and more.

• Schertz 4th of July Jubilee

4th Of July Jubilee – Float & Fireworks, festival food, family zone activities, and a Fireworks Spectacular and Freedom Run 5K

• South Texas Red, White & Blue Festival

City of Elsa – Koolriver – more to come for 2024

Central Texas Area 4th of July

• Waco Forth On The Brazos

Waco’s Fourth on the Brazos celebration occurs annually on July 4 at Touchdown Alley at 1001 S. MLK Blvd. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza starts at 9:15 p.m. FREE.

 

Texas Hill Country July 4th

• Fredericksburg July 4th on Main Street

Rain or shine, Fredericksburg will celebrate the Fourth Of July on Main Street, starting with a parade.

 

Corpus Christi Area Fourth of July

Corpus Christi 4th of July – Big Bang Celebration – It all starts at 9:30 pm beginning with the H-E-B night-time starbursts on Corpus Christi Bay just north of People’s Street T-Head.

• Rockport 4th of July

Little Bay and Downtown Rockport celebrate July 4th with a patriotic boat parade. The Wendell Family Fireworks Show is held in the dark.

• Port Aransas July 4th

Port Aransas Fireworks Display on July 4th at Roberts Point Park starting at 8:30 pm.

 

South Padre Island

SPI Fireworks on the Pier at Clayton’s Beach & Bar Grill start at 9 p.m. every night and are free.

 

Rio Grande Valley

• Brownsville Salute to Freedom

Brownsville will honor the day with its annual Salute to Freedom. The gate opens at 4 p.m. on the 4th, with live music and family-friendly activities. Veterans attending the celebration are welcome to free food and refreshments throughout the event!

 

West Texas

• What A Blast

On July 1st, celebrate July 4th at the Don Harrington Discovery Center at 1200 Steit Drive in Amarillo with all-American treats, patriotic crafts, and activities for all ages.

• Red, White & Boom

July in Coleman will feature a bike parade, hot dogs, ice cream, and a farmers market at Colmena Country Courthouse at 218 Commercial St.

• Fourth On Broadway

On July 4th, head to Mackenzie Park, 3011-27, Lubbock, for a day of fun, starting with a parade, then the annual fishing tournament, eating contest, kid’s activities, a petting zoo, and more.

• Holiday Salutes

Fort Concho Artillery will fire off hourly salutes on the nation’s birthday. Check it out at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 630 S. Oakes St., San Angelo.
