4th of July Celebrations in the Houston Area

• Freedom Over Texas Festival – Houston

Houston’s Freedom Over Texas Festival will be held at Eleanor Tinsley Park at Buffalo Bayou. It will feature live entertainment, food booths, and a fireworks display.

• Star-Spangled Salute at Miller Outdoor Theatre – Houston

The Houston Symphony continues its annual celebration, Star-Spangled Salute, at Hermann Park’s Miller Outdoor Theatre. July 4th, 8:30 pm, with a fireworks finale at 10 pm. Tickets go on sale in June. All outdoor celebrations are free.

• Star-Spangled Salute – The Woodlands

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands offers fireworks and the Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute. FREE

• Pearland Celebration Of Freedom

Pearland will host its Celebration of Freedom on July 4th at Independence Park from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Expect live music and fun! No pets allowed. All ages are welcome, along with vendors.

• Kemah Boardwalk 4th of July Celebration

Kemah Boardwalk’s 4th of July Celebration will feature live music and fireworks over Galveston Bay on July 4th at 9:30 p.m. Look for the Patriot Pass, too.

• Baytown 4th of July Celebration

Baytown celebrates its July 4th Festival for one day only this year, on the 4th at Bicentennial Park. FREE.

• Fireworks Extravaganza – League City

A family-friendly event featuring fireworks, live music, inflatables, and food trucks. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Chester L. Davis Sportsplex.

• 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks

East Texas 4th of July Celebrations

• Longview Fireworks & Freedom Celebration

Longview’s annual Fireworks and Freedom Celebration will be held on July 4th at the Longview Convention Complex. The activities start at 6:30 p.m. and are FREE.

• Tyler Freedom Fighter 5K

Annual Freedom Fighter 5K & Lil’ Firecracker Kid’s Dash held on Independence Day in Tyler, TX.

• Lake Jacksonville July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

East Texas fireworks at its best right here – July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the lake.

• Freedom Over Crockett

This event begins with a parade downtown and concludes at the Davy Crockett Memorial Park, where guests can enjoy food, vendors, crafts, music, and children’s activities. The fireworks show starts at dark.

• Freedom Fest – Gladewater

Fireworks over Lake Gladwater and the Austin Bank Boat Parade. Food truck on site.1604 Lakeshore Drive.

• Jefferson Salutes America

Enjoy an old-fashioned celebration and activities at Ostott Park. Plus, a homemade ice cream contest, a pie auction, games, and live music. The show starts over the Big Cypress Bayou, near the historic LET-lit bridge, downtown.

• Fourth of July Extravaganza – Kilgore

Enjoy a concert by the Jukebox Heroes in the evening, followed by a fireworks show. Bring chairs and a blanket. Kilgore City Park.

• Freedom Fest – Nacogdoches

Fireworks, food trucks, vendors. Festival Park, 507 S Pecan St.

Dallas-Fort Worth 4th of July

 

• Dallas Fair Park 4th

In Dallas, expect a parade, live music from local bands and DJs,  food vendors, and more.

Fair Park Fourth – FREE

Klyde Warren Park Independence Day Celebration – FREE

Check local Dallas Museums for free admission for America’s 250th.

• Fort Worth Fourth

Fort Worth Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion July 4th – Gates open at 5 p.m. FREE!

Fort Worth Stockyards’ Red, White & Boots Music Festival features live Texas music, beer, food trucks, yard games, local vendors, armadillo races, and more for four fun days!

• Addison Kaboom Town

Addison Kaboom Town will continue its legacy as one of the country’s best fireworks shows. The airshow will be at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks will be at 9:30 p.m.

• Frisco Freedom Fest

Frisco Freedom Fest at Frisco Square.

• Flower Mound Independent Fest

Independent Fest in Flower Mound at Bakersfield Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. FREE. Headliner – TBA

• July Hometown Celebration – Granbury 

Granbury Chamber’s Hometown 4th of July Parade and Celebration includes a parade through historic downtown, an arts and crafts fair, fireworks over Lake Granbury on July 4th, live music, a classic car show, and more on the downtown square.

• Irving’s Independence Day Celebration

Sparks & Stripes Independence Day Celebration on July 4th at Irving Heritage District & Levy Event Plaza

The parade starts at 9 am. Free. Parking is free. The shuttle is $10.

• Fourth of JuLIGHTS Display Las Colinas

From Jun 30 to July 5, the canal will be lit.

• McKinney 4th of July

4th of July Celebrations in Texas continue with McKinney’s Red, White, and BOOM! It is set for July 4, starting downtown with a parade and block party, and then resuming at McKinney Soccer Complex in Craig Ranch.

• Plano 4th of July

Plano has two days planned for the Fourth of July, starting with the Patriotic Concert. at Haggard Park and Plano’s All-American 4th Festival at Collin College. Check out Plano’s Events.

• Waxahachie 4th Festival – Crape Myrtle Festival & Parade

Waxahachie has been designated the Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas. And during July, you can experience this phenomenal flower that blooms in the most oppressive climates. Nothing like combining the Waxahachie Crape Myrtle Festival and Parade with the Fourth of July! Festivities include a tailgate party, concert, fireworks display, kids’ zone, and many pretty crape myrtles. Check out the Waxahachie Chamber for more information and two days of fun.

• Weatherford 4th of July

Spark In The Park in Weatherford – 4th of July with Pat Green from 6-10 p.m. at the Heritage Park Amphitheater.

• Grapevine July 4th

Grapevine is hosting a series of events for America’s 250th: America250 Golden Jubilee Fireworks Show at Lake Grapevine on July 4th at 9:30 pm.

Celebrate America Wine Walk on Historic Main Street on July 2nd.

• Red, White, and BTX – Burleson

July 4th

Fireworks, food trucks, vendors, and other festivities at Burelson’s state-of-the-art sports complex. Chisenhall Sports Complex.

Central Texas July 4th Celebrations

 

• Austin 4th of July

The City of Austin has a full day of events planned for its annual 4th of July celebration. Events include a parade, a concert, and an evening concert. It will feature food vendors and local artists.

There are a couple of places celebrating the 4th in Austin.

• • Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks is one.

• • Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival

• • Willie Nelson’s July 4th Picnic at Q2 Stadium will take place on July 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Bastrop 4th of July Celebration

Bastrop’s First Annual Big Bang! Celebration, July 1st. The celebration starts with the Bastrop Stampede 5K and Kids Mile at 8 am. The Pet and Pal Parade begins at 10 am, after which Bastrop’s historic Main Street hosts a cornhole tournament. See it all on its website.

• Round Rock July 4th Parade

Round Rock’s Sertoma July 4th Parade and Frontier Days on July 4, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

The Old Settlers Association is hosting a free family party with colonial-era dancers, themed games, and free cupcakes and ice cream for America’s 250th.

• Waco Fourth On The Brazos

Waco’s Fourth on the Brazos celebration occurs annually on July 4 at Touchdown Alley at 1001 S. MLK Blvd. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza starts at 9:15 p.m. FREE. Parking is free, too.

• Independence Day Parade and Festivities – Chappell Hill

Many floats and the famous marching kazoo band will be downtown to show off their style on July 4th.

• Freedom Fest – Corsicana

July 4th

Patriotic fun for the whole family will be available throughout town, featuring live entertainment, family activities, a fireworks show, and a variety of food and music. 1.O.O.F. Park, North 45th Street.

• Fourth of July in Round Top

Serving Breakfast Tacos, a parade, cold beer, wine, live music, and frozen beverages. What more could you ask for?

• Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza – Lockhart

July, 5-10 pm

Skydivers, vendors, fireworks at dusk, music, food. Lockhart City Park. Bring your blanket and lawn chairs. Get there early to grab a spot on the grass.

San Antonio Area Celebrates 4th of July

 

• San Antonio Independence Day Celebrations

SA always brings its colorful flair to any celebration. From fiestas to jubilees, this Texas town will not be outdone in patriotic partying.

There is no better place to celebrate Independence Day than the Alamo. Texas Fest will be in the Alamo Garden, 300 Alamo Plaza.

• Gonzales Star-Spangled Spectacular

Gonzales, TX Star-Spangled Spectacular on 4th of July. Celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks show in South Central Texas, hosted by Gonzales Main Street.

• Seguin 4th of July Festival

Made In America Festival & Concert. The Daytime Market runs from noon to 5 p.m., featuring over 60 local artists and makers who craft unique items in the United States, along with food trucks, live music, and more.

• Schertz 4th of July Jubilee

4th of July Jubilee – Float & Fireworks, festival food, family zone activities, and a Fireworks Spectacular and Freedom Run 5K

• Old-Fashioned 4th Of July – Castroville

Friday, July 4th parade in the historic downtown at 9 am.

6-10 pm Fireworks at Castroville Regional Park, live music, food, and games.  Featuring Rick Trevino and Nick Lawrence Band as the opening band. 

• Hyatt Regency Hill Country – San Antonio

Throughout the holiday weekend, guests can enjoy the resort’s annual holiday parade, an extravagant fireworks show, historical reenactments, and a Texas-style hoedown with live country music and barbecue. The resort will also provide several family activities, including a sandcastle-building contest, s’mores by the campfire, movies under the stars, and much more.

• Fourth of July Celebration – La Vernia

Small town charm celebrates the holiday in a big way with a country artist and a parade. This event continues to grow in size and popularity every year! City Park on July 4th.

Texas Hill Country July 4th

• Market Days in Wimberley

Saturday, the 4th – largest outdoor market in Texas – The Lazy Lavender says!

100s of vendors sign up in this small town with a magical atmosphere! If you’re staying overnight on Friday, look for the July 4th parade to come through town.

• Luckenbach Texas 4th of July

Bash and vendor market. Free family fun. Contest, kid activities, face painting, wagon parade, and much more. Friday at Noon. 

• Fredericksburg July 4th on Main Street

Rain or shine, Fredericksburg will celebrate the Fourth of July on Main Street, starting with a parade.

Gulf Coast Area Fourth of July Celebrations

 

Corpus Christi 4th of July – Big Bang Celebration – It all starts at 9:30 pm, beginning with the H-E-B nighttime starbursts on Corpus Christi Bay just north of People’s Street T-Head.

• Rockport 4th of July

Little Bay and Downtown Rockport celebrate July 4th with a patriotic boat parade. The Wendell Family Fireworks Show is held in the dark.

• Port Aransas July 4th at Cinnamon Shore

Port Aransas Fireworks Display on July 4th at Roberts Point Park starting at 8:30 pm.

Cinnamon Shore is a premier beachfront community in Port Aransas, offering families a picture-perfect setting for an unforgettable Fourth of July getaway. Join the annual Independence Day Festival on Friday, July 4, featuring live music, a bike parade, face-painting, and festive fun for all ages. • South Padre Island

SPI Fireworks on the Pier at Clayton’s Beach & Bar Grill are free and start at 9 p.m. every night.

• Brownsville Salute to Freedom

Brownsville will honor the day with its annual Salute to Freedom. The gate opens at 4 p.m. on the 4th, with live music and family-friendly activities. Veterans attending the celebration are welcome to free food and refreshments throughout the event!

West Texas

 

• What A Blast

Celebrate July 4th at the Don Harrington Discovery Center, located at 1200 Steit Drive in Amarillo, with all-American treats, patriotic crafts, and activities for all ages.

• Red, White & Boom

July in Coleman will feature a bike parade, hot dogs, ice cream, and a farmers’ market at the Coleman Country Courthouse, located at 218 Commercial St.

• Fourth On Broadway in Lubbock

On July 4th, head to Mackenzie Park, 3011-27, Lubbock, for a day of fun. The day starts with a parade, followed by the annual fishing tournament, an eating contest, kids’ activities, a petting zoo, and more.

• Holiday Salutes in San Angelo

Fort Concho Artillery will fire off hourly salutes on the nation’s birthday. Check it out at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 630 S. Oakes St., San Angelo.
