Downtown Dallas

The Dallas Farmer’s Market is a great place to see how important agriculture is in the area. The Market has been around since 1941 and has two main parts: The Shed and The Market. The Shed is where the weekly farmers market is held every Saturday and Sunday, where you can buy local food and handmade items. The Market is open daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and has local restaurants, gift shops, and retail stores. The last time I was there, there was free parking in a parking garage. Be sure to look for it. Sorry, I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s across the street from the Market.
