Kuebler-Waldrip Haus
The Kuebler-Waldrip Haus is a historic bed and breakfast 1847 German rock pioneer home. It’s a very serene, quaint, quiet place to stay in New Braunfels, and perhaps a better description would be an older, more country place. Back in 2021 when I took my mother and son to Wurstfest, we stayed here. We were out and about a lot, but I remember enjoying taking with the owners, and watching my son play their piano. The breakfast each morning was homemade and delicious. I miss that in other places I’ve stayed over the years. If I had the choice whereever I go, it’s always a B&B that serves breakfast each morning.
The Resort at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels
One year, many years ago, I took my mom and son to a conference in New Braunfels that was held at the waterpark. We stayed in the resort. They were older rooms, but very doable. I can’t remember staying too long in the room when there’s was so much going on. I do know that the resort offers its guests different activies like outdoor movies on the lawn that included popcorn.
