Starts early June
Route 66, the road that shaped America, will celebrate its centennial in 2026. BUT Amarillo is not waiting that long to get down with the festivities. There is a great Texas Independence Day celebration on March 2nd in Carrollton, TX! It is called TEXFest and is held in Historic Downtown Carrollton.
