10 Things To Do In Baytown, TX With The Kids

It’s an outdoor adventure in Baytown! If these activities below aren’t enough to keep you and your family busy, you can always go kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing at the Baytown Nature Center.

1. Go Geocaching

Kids love searching for treasures and then finding them. Explore the area with the Baytown GeoTour while earning prizes and having fun on this family-friendly journey through the city. Each geocacher can obtain a free GeoTour passport from the visitbaytown.com/geocaching website or the Buc-ee’s Visit Baytown Kiosk, 4080 East Fwy, Baytown.

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is where ordinary people like you and me hide stuff. Puts the location on the geocaching app and people like you and me go out and try to find them. I can’t count how many times my son and I found places using the app only to find nothing there. I’m sure it’s people not like you and me that take the items with them. Nope, that’s not how it works. You are supposed to write on a piece of paper that should be supplied and jot down the date you were there. Put it back where you found it so the next person can find it. Find out more from Baytown Geocaching.
