Texas Hill Country Wineries is gearing up for a busy fall season, with several exciting wine events scheduled for September and October, including a brand-new all-day Wine Camp experience. See below for more details about the fall wine events in Texas Hill Country at our favorite places. I hope you like wine!

Fall Wine Events in the Texas Hill Country

The calendar overflows with memorable moments—think Passport adventures through Texas Hill Country Wineries, a roadshow gathering to help our neighbor in Kerrville, cozy winemaker dinners, and a new wine camp.

Hill Country Road Show: Rosé to Rebuild Fundraiser

Saturday, September 6, 3:00 – 5:30 PM | Horseshoe Bay Resort

Description: A walk-around tasting with 30+ wineries, bites and live music.

🍷September begins with purpose and celebration at the Hill Country Road Show: Rosé to Rebuild.
Held at the scenic Horseshoe Bay Resort, this walk-around tasting event gathers over 30 Hill Country wineries for an afternoon of community and flavor. Guests can enjoy curated food pairings, live music, and a vibrant selection of rosé, alongside standout reds and whites.

All proceeds go directly to help Hill Country neighbors recover from recent floods. With its blend of fun, flavor, and philanthropy, Rosé to Rebuild is both a celebration of Texas wine and a testament to the region’s resilience.

Fall Winemaker Dinner

Friday, September 26, 7:00 PM | Flat Creek Estate Winery & Vineyard

Description: An intimate, seated dinner paired with wines from six THCW member wineries. Guests are seated with owners/winemakers. Proceeds benefit the Hill Country Wine Industry Scholarship Fund.

🍷For a truly personal taste of Texas wine country, the Fall Winemaker Dinner offers an intimate evening of connection and flavor. Held at the scenic Flat Creek Estate Winery & Vineyard, this elegant gathering invites guests to share a table with the winemakers themselves. The evening features a thoughtfully curated multi-course meal, each dish paired with selections from six distinguished Hill Country producers: Carter Creek Winery, Dry Comal Creek Vineyards, Driftwood Estate, Farmhouse Vineyards, Flat Creek Estate, and Portree Cellars.

Guests will share the table with winemakers, owners, or special representatives from the winery. Guests will have the opportunity to hear genuine conversation and storytelling about Texas terroir, varietals, and innovation.

Texas Wine Month Passport

October 1–31 | 45+ Hill Country wineries participating

Description: A month-long, self-driving guided way to discover award-winning Texas wines with complimentary tastings, exclusive discounts, and a 15% discount on 3+ bottle purchases at participating wineries.

🍷October is prime time to experience the Texas Hill Country with crisp evenings and sweeping vineyard vistas. With the annual Texas Wine Month Passport, visitors can sip and stroll through more than 45 distinctive wineries, savoring the region’s rich flavors all month long.

Passport Perks: Complimentary tastings, insider-only deals, and 15% off when you purchase three or more bottles at participating wineries. With the freedom to visit up to four wineries per day, your passport becomes the key to a self-paced adventure—perfect for a spontaneous weekend escape or a leisurely month of discovery.

Beyond the wine -$5 from each ticket supports the Texas Hill Country Wine Scholarship Fund, which helps students studying viticulture, enology, and hospitality at Texas universities.

Hill Country Wine Camp

Sunday, October 12, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Texas Wine Collective

Description: A hands-on, expert-led day for wine lovers to learn grape growing, winemaking and bold Texas food pairings. Plus, it features a sparkling wine + oyster pairing, a build-your-own charcuterie workshop, and a signature varietal tasting.

🍷This fall, Texas Hill Country Wineries unveils a fresh adventure for wine enthusiasts: Hill Country Wine Camp. Held at the Texas Wine Collective in Fredericksburg, this immersive, one-day experience invites guests to dive deeper into the world of wine. Through hands-on sessions and guided tastings, participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from the region’s winemakers, growers, and educators. You will explore the craft, culture, and stories behind every pour.

The schedule celebrates the vibrant spirit of Texas wine, inviting guests to savor its range and artistry. From the crisp elegance of sparkling wine paired with oysters to a hands-on charcuterie board workshop, each experience is crafted to delight. A signature varietal tasting rounds out the journey, spotlighting the grapes that flourish in the heart of Hill Country.
