Bring a bag to these outdoor markets and stock up on your favorite things.

How much do you love an open-air Farmer’s Market? We recommend going to these farmers’ markets in the DFW area. If you’re like me, you’ll want to go on the spur of the moment. Because of this, I made a list to help you (and me) find them quickly. Some of these farmers’ markets are open year-round, while others are only open at certain times of the year, so be sure to take note.

Farmer’s Markets in the DFW Area

I love visiting farmers’ markets to support farmers and buy local produce. Still, there seemed to be none close to me until now. More and more are popping up everywhere around the Metroplex. So, here’s a list of the top local farmers’ markets in and around the DFW area. I’ve also listed times, dates, and what they sell (if known). Some are open daily, while others are only open on weekends.

Downtown Mesquite Farmer’s Market

At Front Street Station

Saturday, April through November, from 9 am – 1 pm.

The Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market is pet-friendly, with live music, unique vendors, and many murals for Instagram photo shots!

Weatherford, Texas – First Monday Trade Days

First Monday Trade Days is open year-round on the weekends before the first Monday of each month (always check their website for exact dates). Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 am – 4 pm. You’ll find local produce, modern handmade gifts, antiques, and almost everything you could think of.

Bedford Farmer’s Market

Year-round. The Bedford Farmers Market is now in NRH.

7700 Davis Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX

(817) 358-9510

Mon-Sat 8 am-7 pm (9 am-6 pm on Sun)

The Bedford Farmer’s Market has hanging floral baskets, vegetables and fruits, fresh jams and jellies, local honey, nuts, local salsa, hand-rolled tamales, grass-fed meats, and more.

Farmer’s Market of Grapevine

Year-round

520 S Main St, Grapevine, TX

Mon-Sun 8 am-8 pm (9 am-6 pm on Sun)

Farmers Market Grapevine is open daily and is located on Main Street, right in the heart of downtown. I love visiting here to explore, stroll along Main Street, and sample the local wineries.

Grapevine Farmers And Artisans Market

Seasonal

From mid-April until the end of June, from 10 am – 4 pm.

First of July (after the 4th of July) through the first of September from 9 am to 2 pm.

325 S. Main Street

Next to Messina Hof Winery

The Grapevine Artisans Market features a variety of vendors offering produce, home decor, collectibles, artisan bread, cookies, other sweets, hot sauce, homemade items, and so much more. This is one of my favorite seasonal markets. There’s free parking behind the market. Get there early.

Farmer's Markets In The DFW Area That I Recommend

McKinney’s Farmers Market at Chestnut Square

Year-round on Saturday

Chesnut Square

Summer hours – April – December – 8 am to noon

Winter hours – January – March 9 am to noon

McKinney’s Farmers Market is the bomb. It’s huge and goes on and on and on. You’ll probably spend the whole time right here. There’s shade and places to sit, and strollers and dogs are welcome.

Roanoke Farmers Market

Saturdays

221 N Oak St., Roanoke, TX 76262

(940) 391-3360

8 am-12 pm April through September

The Roanoke Farmers Market in historic downtown Roanoke has everything—from produce to free yoga classes and shopping bags. However, I was unable to find a suitable website for this market.

North Richland Hills Farmers Market

Year-round

7700 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, TX 76180

(817) 428-7075

Mon-Sat 8 am-7 pm (9-7 on Sun)

NRH Farmers Market gets bigger and bigger every time I drive by.

Grand Prairie Farmers Market

120 W Main St. Grand Prairie, TX 75050

(972) 237-4599

Saturday’s 8 am to 1 pm, early April through mid-December

The Grand Prairie Farmers Market – at Market Square offers eggs, honey, spices, soaps, candles, artisan crafts, and more.

Dallas Farmers Market

Farmers Market is year-round, but vendors come on Saturdays & Sundays

1010 S Pearl Expy., Dallas, TX 75201 (Downtown)

(214) 664-9110

Mon-Sun 10 am-7 pm

A huge market with numerous options, serving lunch. Parking can be difficult, so arrive early.

The Dallas Farmers Market is one of the best in the area. The eateries inside are open daily, but the market is only open on weekends. I love this market on the weekends when I’m out and about visiting some of the top attractions in Dallas with my family.

Keller Farmers Market

Year-round Saturday market

1100 Bear Creek Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248

(682) 593-3507

Times change during the seasons, so view the website before you go.

The Keller Farmers Market always seems to have fun activities.

Denton Community Market

Seasonal on Saturday

317 W Mulberry St., Denton, TX 76201

(972) 536-3145

Sat. 9 am-1 pm March through mid-December

I love the Denton Community Market. It’s friendly and laid-back, and the vendors do not sell the same things. It’s also dog-friendly.

I’ve gathered that the vendors change throughout the year, while some return each Saturday. You may want to obtain a business card from your favorite vendor in case they don’t return each Saturday.

Coppell Farmers Market

Saturday, from 8 am to 12 pm

768 W. Main Street, Coppell

The Coppell Farmers Market is full of artisan vendors selling a wide range of homemade wares—from jellies and bath products to hot sauce, flowers, produce, and more. This looks like a great market if you live nearby or travel through on a Saturday morning.

The Clearfork Farmers Market

Year-round on Saturdays, 8 am – 12 pm (winter hours are from 9 am to noon and start in November)

4801 Edwards Ranch Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76109

Check out The Clearfork Farmers Market for peaches, t-shirts, clothing, lots of produce from local farmers, and so much more.
