Christmas Tree Forest – Corpus Christi

See 30 trees decorated to represent different award-winning classic children’s books. Where? At the Art Museum of South Texas – 1902 N. Shoreline Blvd.

Rockport Gospel Music Festival

January 10 & 11, 2025, 6 – 10 pm/11 pm

Annual MLK Grande Parade – Midtown Houston

January 20, 2025

One of the most significant multicultural events in the U.S. in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is the MLK Grande Parade in Midtown Houston.

Surfside Food and Art Festival

January 25, 2025, 11 am to 4 pm

Mardi Gras Galveston

February 21 – March 4, 2025

The 3rd largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country! Who’s going? Mardi Gras! Galveston.

Mardi Gras Southeast Texas – Beaumont

February 27-28, 2025 & March 1-2, 2025

Carnival rides and kid zone, vendors, purse bingo, and live performances. Get tickets at Beaumont Mardi Gras.

Brew on the Bayou – Lake Jackson

March 29th

Sample beers and eat food. The location is the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory.

Alvin Music Festival And Cookoff

March 24-29, 2025

Alvin, Texas, will hold its music festival & a barbeque cookoff with country stars at Bob Brisco Park.

University of Houston Energy Industry Crawfish Boil

March 30, 2025, 1 to 5 pm at UH Campus, Lynn Eusan Park – UH Crawfish Boil

South Texas State Fair – Beaumont

March 27-April 6

Over 250 booths of all kinds of vendors, including fair food. Plus a livestock show, petting zoo, carnival and more at Doggett Ford Park.

Texas SandFest – Port Aransas

April 25-27, 2025

The Largest Beach Sand Sculpture Competition in the USA. The Texas SandFest will be filled with sand sculptures, food, shopping, live music, and more.

Art Festival in Rockport, TX

Early July

Rockport Festival Grounds. Since 1969, 120+ artists have sold their art. Check out Rockport Art Center for more information.

Great American Mosquito Festival – Clute

End of July

The Great Texas Mosquito Festival is a family event celebrating years of that 26-foot mosquito mascot at Clute Municipal Park.
