Welcome to Texas Travel Talk

Howdy! I’m Kim Croisant, owner and editor of this website. I am a proud native Texan, born and raised in the DFW area, and currently residing in a small town just north of Fort Worth. I bring a personal touch to all the content you’ll find here. And sometimes, my team writers pitch in. Texas is not just a place for us; it’s our home!

Our goal at Texas Travel Talk is to present authentic stories, travel tips, and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy in Texas (and occasionally in other states bordering our state). Our personalized articles showcase the best of travel in Texas for anyone looking to explore more.

We research, hunt down, and scour the internet for festivals, fairs, events, and anything happening in Texas that’s worth knowing about, so you don’t have to. We take this burden off our readers so they can come here, find what they need, and start planning the fun things to do with family and friends, or whoever they bring along. We love to bring our pets with us whenever possible.

Texas Travel Talk collaborates with destinations, attractions, hotels, and other travel brands to create and promote travel experiences directly to individuals seeking accurate, exciting, and relevant travel information for the Lone Star State.

It’s a great time to explore Texas! We hope the next time you plan a trip in Texas, you come here for ideas and fun itineraries.
