The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa

The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa makes a perfect getaway in Frisco, TX.

The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa is a luxury resort hotel near the Grandscape and Nebraska Furniture Mart in Frisco, Texas. Westin hotels are also part of the Marriott Bonvoy family so you can use your points here. It’s truly the ultimate getaway in Frisco.

Disclosure: The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa hosted us for two nights and treated us to some fantastic amenities. All opinions are my own.

Review: The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa

A fresh, clean hotel resort inside and out with so many amenities, such as a resort-style pool, a full-service spa, a golf course, and activities for the kids, there is always something going on here for every family member.

We enjoyed our stay and could have stayed longer to spend more time at the spa!

Location: Edge of Frisco, near The Colony and Plano. 17 miles from Love Field; 18 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Activities At The Westin Stonebriar

  • Fazio Golf Course at Stonebriar Country Club – Guests can play 18 holes on the hotel’s own championship golf course.
  • Well & Being Spa – with many body treatments, including Halotherapy.
  • Relax at the pool, rent a cabana, and enjoy a waterslide, splash pad, and lawn games.
  • Various children’s activities.
  • Four thousand acres of outdoor space to roam.

What We’re Loving

Esther and I loved our 2-hours of spa time. We were able to relax and unwind in the lounge, get a massage, and relax even more. We tried Halotherapy, which benefits the body, mind, lungs, and skin. This was something neither of us had heard of. The idea of this machine is to help with circulation, stress, colds, cough, flu, skin conditions, and more. The cost is $25 for 20 minutes.

Aside from that, we loved this hotel’s incredible hospitality. Everyone, from reservations to the waitstaff, was spot on. Esther is ready to bring her family for a staycation.

Onsite Restaurants At The Westin Stonebriar

Dining options include 3 restaurants, a lounge, and a coffee shop/cafe.

  1. Herd & Hearth – a full-service, locally inspired restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
  2. Beans & Barrel is a café featuring Starbucks coffee in the morning and curated cocktails with light bites in the evening.
  3. Ranch Water – dining poolside of grilled sandwiches, fresh sides, and refreshing drinks. Tip: rent a cabana and order watermelon –so refreshing on a hot summer day.
  4. Or relax in your room with a 24-hour in-room dining option.

What Type Of Travelers Will You Find Here?

Couples, families with small children, some with grandparents. Lots of little girls because they were hosting a Barbie party out by the pool. We also saw two wedding parties and a group of professional soccer players. So, this resort is for everyone!

More Westin Stonebriar Hotel Features:

  • The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa is ranked #58 among luxury hotels in Texas by U.S. News & World Report.
  • The resort has a shuttle that will take their guests (for free) anywhere within 3-4 miles (and pick them up).
  • The food is plentiful at the hotel, and many activities are happening. There isn’t a need to leave; however, there are several restaurants within the 3-4 miles of the hotel. I believe there is also an outdoor shopping center within that range.
  • The hotel is a beautiful wedding venue with outstanding ballrooms.
