Best Rooftop Bars In Dallas

Dallas, Texas, has many bars and restaurants, but there are also many great rooftop bars. If you’re looking for the best rooftops in the city, check these out:

1. HQ Dallas Rooftop

HQ Dallas Rooftop has a great city view in downtown Dallas. The rooftop bar has an amazing atmosphere with comfortable seating and fire pits. They have a delicious menu and an impressive drink selection, including signature cocktails and local beer on tap.

Where: 310 S Houston St., 12th Floor at the Courtyard Dallas Downtown – A Marriott Bonvoy

Opens: This may vary with private parties. 214-238-6589 Call for hours before you go.

Serving: Chef-inspired small plates and handcrafted cocktails. Skyline views of downtown.

2. HG Sply Co.

A very hip and casual place for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Where: 2008 Greenville Ave.

Opens: 11 am 10 pm.

Serving: American fare. The rooftop menu is different from the restaurant menu – more snacky foods.

Attributes: A nice outdoor setting with plants, flowers, and lighting. Can host events.

3. Waterproof

The Statler Hotel is a historic hotel in downtown Dallas. The Waterproof on its rooftop has one of the city’s best views, though it can be pricey. They host special social events throughout the year. Cabanas by the pool are $750 with a minimum of one bottle purchase. 469-987-7788.
Where: 1914 Commerce, 19th Floor of the Statler Hotel

Opens: Varies. (nighttime hours starts at 6 pm)

Serving: Drinks and bites. Happy hour M-F 1-8 pm.

Attributes: Rooftop pool by day, Rooftop bar by night. Panoramic views of downtown Dallas.

4. Sky Blossom Rooftop Bistro

This bistro and bar infuse different cuisines for an unmatching mouthwatering menu.

Where: 1514 Elm St.

Opens: 11 am – 11 pm.

Serving: Chinese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese

Attributes: Views of The Eye Sculpture.

5. Te Deseo

Looks like a party place to me. Celebrate any occasion here!

Where: 2700 Olive St.

Opens: Varies – opens at 5 pm. Thursday’s happy hour is from 8-10 pm.

Serving: Latin American-inspired food.

Attributes: A great view of the city.

6. Sky Blu Rooftop Bar

Not even a year old – it’s Dallas’ largest open-air rooftop bar. You can bring your entire friends’ list here with so many chairs and sofas – it can be a party on the rooftop. I’d call first!

Where: 1949 N Stemmons Fwy, 9th Floor of the TRU by Hilton Dallas Market Center

Opens: 4 pm

Serving: Signature cocktails and extensive beer and wine list.

Attributes: Plush and classy furniture. You’ll fit right in!

7. Upside West Village

A premier (and new) place to wine and dine and a great place to host an event.

Where: West Village – 2950 Cityplace W. Blvd – Canopy by Hilton Uptown

Opens: 5 pm

Serving: Sophisticated shared plates and worldly bites.

Attributes: Casual atmosphere with a classy look and fee.

8. CANVAS Hotel Dallas – Downtown (Dallas Rooftop Pool)

A daring hotel in Dallas with a rooftop pool, bar, and special events.

Where: 1325 Botham Jean Blvd.

Opens: Check times before you go.

Serving: Fun and drinks

Attributes: A 2022 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Award Winner.

Best Rooftop Bars In Fort Worth

Whether you’re looking for a place to get some fresh air or want to enjoy an afternoon cocktail while watching the sunset over the city skyline, these are the best rooftop bars in Fort Worth.

1. Quince

Fort Worth’s newest hot spot with a rooftop restaurant. Quince is an upscale casual restaurant with music, great service and spectacular views.
Where: Fort Worth Riverside at 1701 River Run.

Opens: 11 am to 10:45 pm.

Serving: Fine dining for lunch, dinner, drinks, and dessert

Attributes: #1 Rooftop Restaurant in the World in 2020 (New Orleans, NYC, Mexico)

2. Branch And Bird

Looks like they just finished remodeling the restaurant. Enjoy your time with live music.

Where: 640 Taylor St., Sky Lobby Level (12th Floor) of Frost Tower Fort Worth – Downtown

Opens: Various hours M-S; closed Sunday for lunch & dinner. Reservations on the rooftop patio are encouraged.

Serving: Contemporary elevated cuisine (Quail, Chicken, Steak, Seafood)

Attributes: Live music Weds & Sat. and various other events

3. Chef Tim Love Atico Rooftop

Famous Fort Worth Chef Tim Love brings his specialty to the Stockyards. I’d be going here first!

Where: 6th Floor of the SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards

Opens: M-F 4:30-close; Sat-Sun 11:30-close

Serving: Spanish tapas

Attributes: Overlooks the Fort Worth Stockyards and the downtown skyline. Does not take reservations.

5. The Rooftop Bar At The Sinclair

Where: Downtown Fort Worth at The Sinclair Hotel – A Marriott Bonvoy

Opens: Thurs-Sunday, 5 pm to 12 am.

Serving: Steak and Seafood

Attributes: Urban Chic with rich colors. DT FTW’s newest rooftop restaurant, bar & lounge.

6. Reata Restaurant

This seems like the place to go for all get-to-gathers. I have been here at least four times. It never gets old, especially up top.

Where: Downtown Fort Worth

Opens: 5 pm for Dinner

Serving: Southwestern fare

Attributes: Upscale Ranch-themed (Legendary) with views of Fort Worth

7. Houston Street Bar & Patio

For a fun casual time, come out to this rooftop bar and engage in pool, darts, beer, cocktails, and wine.

Where: 902 Houston St., Sundance Square

Opens: Patio Bar is only open on certain days. Call first.

Serving: drinks

Attributes: Party on the rooftop

8. Lot 12 Rooftop Bar

A college hangout.

Where: 2512 W. Berry St., TCU Campus

Opens: Hours vary; closed Monday

Serving: Elevated bar food

Attributes: Top Golf; College crowd
