I love to visit North Texas farmers markets and help support local farmers. Whenever I can, I buy local produce. I can’t get enough of them. Most of them are open on Saturdays and year-round, and a few are open all year-round on every Saturday. These open-air farmer’s markets in North TX are open at certain times of the year, so take note of that and plan to visit. Be sure to bring your bags. It’s nice to have a bag to put everything in. Some larger markets may have bags that they give out, but bring your own, just in case.

Check out The Clearfork Farmers Market in Fort Worth – a year-round market every Saturday from 9 am to noon.

Dallas Farmers Market
1010 S Pearl Expy., Dallas, TX 75201 (Downtown)
Mon-Sun 10 am – 6 pm
It’s a huge market with lots of options—it serves lunch. The DFM is one of the best around, and certain foods sell out—like bread and breakfast items. The eateries open daily, but the market is only on weekends.
If you look around, there is free parking around the market.
Denton Community Market
317 W Mulberry St., Denton, TX
Sat. 9 am – 1 pm (April – November)
The Denton Community Market is a fav of mine. It’s friendly and laid-back, and the vendors do not sell the same things. I love this market. Dog-friendly. Vendors here change throughout the year, as other markets are the same. Be sure to grab a business card if you like what they sell so you can contact them if you don’t see that they made it to the next market you go to.
Grand Prairie Farmers Market
120 W Main St. Grand Prairie, TX
Saturday, April through mid-December from 8 am – 1 pm, but may close early (Noon) because of the heat.
The Grand Prairie Farmers Market in downtown Grand Prairie features locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, tamales, salsas, dips, relishes, eggs, honey, chips, plants, soaps, candles, and more.
Grapevine Farmers And Artisans Market
Middle April until the end of June from 10 am – 4 pm.
First of July (after the 4th of July) through the first of September from 9 am to 2 pm.

Look for the Town Square Gazebo
The Grapevine Farmers and Artisans Market features a variety of vendors offering produce, home decor, collectibles, artisan bread, cookies, other sweets, hot sauce, homemade items, and so much more. This is one of my favorite seasonal markets. There’s free parking behind the market. Get there early.
Keller Farmers Market
400 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX
Saturday, May through October from 8 am-Noon
The Keller Farmers Market is located near the beautiful Bear Creek Park creek.
McKinney Farmer’s Market at Chestnut Square
Open year-round on Saturdays from April through December from 8 am to noon.
January, February, and March from 9 am-noon.
McKinney Farmer’s Market houses 75 Vendors offering homegrown, harvested, and handmade products.
Downtown Mesquite Farmer’s Market
At Front Street Station
Saturday, April through November, from 9 am – 1 pm.
The Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market is pet-friendly, with live music, unique vendors, and many murals for Instagram photo shots!
North Richland Hills Farmer’s Market

Roanoke Farmers Market
Saturdays April – September from 8 am – 12 pm
The Roanoke Farmer’s Market is a fun-filled outdoor market for the whole family. In addition to local produce, the Market includes live music, yoga classes, cooking demos, and activities for kids. Indoor restrooms are available.
Weatherford, Texas – First Monday Trade Days
First Monday Trade Days is open year-round on the weekends before the first Monday of the month (always check for exact dates on their website). Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 am – 4 pm. You’ll find local produce, modern handmade gifts, antiques, and almost everything you could think of.
