Location: You know what is said about “location, location, location,” TMS can’t be any better located than across the street from Buc-ees off I-35 and Hwy 114. It can also get quite busy during race weekends. And if you’re in town for a long weekend, you may want to know what there is to do in small-town Justin, just a short drive from the Speedway.

10 Restaurants Near the Texas Motor Speedway
Travelers who head to the Texas Motor Speedway in North Fort Worth can look out their car windows to see local, regional, and national restaurants. Though the Speedway Club offers an excellent restaurant, it’s not affordable for the average racegoer. There are also eateries inside during races, but if you’re looking for a nice restaurant where you can sit around a table to enjoy your meal with your group, you’ll want to go elsewhere.
Restaurants near Buc-ee’s Fort Worth are in the same realm as the speedway.
1. Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse is an American steakhouse chain specializing in steaks and serving Texan and Southwestern cuisine. Some say the best steaks in Texas are at Texas Roadhouse. Customer service is also top-notch at the location near TMS.

2. Rosa’s Cafe
Who loves Taco Tuesdays? If you’re new to Texas, you may not be familiar with Rosa’s Taco Tuesday. If you love tacos, wait for Tuesday when they offer their taco special. Rosa’s Cafe serves breakfast tacos and burritos from 8 am to 12 noon daily except Sundays.
Location: 18451 I-35W, Northlake, TX. Next door to the Texas Roadhouse. Opens at 6:30 am – 10 pm.

3. Babe’s Chicken Dinner House
Babe’s is an iconic North Texas restaurant with something for everyone in the family. This restaurant serves classic fried chicken, chicken-fried steak, and fried chicken tenders as main dishes, along with delectable vegetables from green salad to corn—a local favorite.
Travel Tip: On E. Byron Nelson Blvd., off Hwy 114, in Roanoke, TX, and on Oak Street, there are quite a few places to eat near the Texas Motor Speedway.

4. Joe’s Pasta and Pizza
Located in Justin, next to Sonic, serves great pizzas and Italian dishes.
Location: On Hwy 156 next to Sonic.

5. Hard Eight
When you think of Hard Eight, think about a unique BBQ restaurant with a hard eight that serves everything from brisket, pork ribs, and sausage to steaks, chicken, and turkey: chicken and shrimp poppers, pork chops, ham, steak, and turkey.
Vegetarians will also be delighted to taste the sides – potato salad, jalapeño sweet corn, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, and fried okra. You can complete lunch and dinner with a banana pudding, cheesecake, chocolate pecan pie, or a Texas Whiskey Buttermilk pie.

6. Lonestar Cafe and Mule Barn
The Lonestar Cafe is a local favorite in Justin. The Mule Barn serves a mean burger with live music on the weekends.
Location: Located next to each other on Hwy 156 in Justin.
7. Outlaw Burgers
Burgers, BBQ, and more are all made to order. Try the shakes! Seating is inside with a few tables outside in front.
Location: Justin Old Town on 4th Street

8. Bayou Jacks
You can experience Louisiana without ever leaving Texas by visiting Bayou Jacks. Drool-worthy appetizers, such as Natchitoches meat pie and shrimp queso, and steamed dishes like Alaskan snow crab and peel-and-eat shrimp, will delight your table. Po-boys, burgers, and sandwiches are available as dishes or grab-and-go meals.
Bayou Jacks also offers traditional entrees, such as crawfish etouffee and jambalaya, as well as newer dishes like coconut-crusted mahi mahi and almond-crusted rainbow trout. The side dishes—collard greens, sautéed asparagus, mashed potatoes, and dirty rice—make the meal. You can complete your meal with their dessert menu, which includes bread pudding, key lime pie, mudslide, and skillet peach cobbler.

9. Olive Garden
Perhaps you will want to do some shopping while in the area. Tanger Outlet and Olive Garden share the exact location. Who doesn’t love Olive Garden’s salad and breadsticks? One of the business restaurant chains in this area, but the food is good, and the customer service is even better! Try a wine with your dinner!
Location: 15885 N Fwy, Fort Worth, TX, opens at 11 am.
10. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
We are all familiar with Cracker Barrel and its down-home, country-style food. You know, the restaurant with the rocking chairs out front and the cute gift store inside? It’s down the road on the I-35 access road, just past Buc-ee’s and Olive Garden.

And there’s a slew of fast food chains across the highway. No one will go hungry while visiting the Texas Motor Speedway.
FYI – Mom’s Cafe in Justin is gone. The place is no longer a restaurant.

Facts About The Texas Motor Speedway
- Parking is free
- You can bring food and drinks inside in a soft-sided cooler (no glass).
- One beer costs $7-8 bucks!
- Camping is allowed.
- The Speedway Club is a beautiful venue that features an upscale restaurant.
- Arrive early, as the venue tends to fill up quickly during races. Some roads are blocked off.

Some of these are further away from Tanger and TMS then you think…they are in Roanoke at least 4 to 5 miles from the area. You should name the chick fila, Burger King, Pandas, and others at Tanger located across from TMS. I know this area well lived here for 20 yrs. You need to get your direction straight. Roanoke TX is fine if visitors are looking to go the distance. However Tanger square has many good eating places.
Roanoke is not that far from the Speedway. I guess I could have said “fast food” restaurants.
