Leave the kids home and enjoy one of these hotels with a spa.

Chances are, you are here because you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Texas that offers spa services. Texas delivers everything in a big way, including self-wellness, pampering opportunities, and time in nature, which many hotels offer. So you’ll want to leave the kids at home and book a family hotel resort in Texas for another time. We found some of the top hotel spas in Texas, and the ones that provide a nature hangout are a bonus!

How often do you go on a getaway just for yourself? According to recent studies, self-care is essential for living a healthy lifestyle.

Top Hotel Spas In Texas

Hotels with spas are not just for the well-off—pampering yourself is for anyone who wants to indulge in a relaxing getaway to take care of their wellbeing. Planning a spa weekend is an excellent way to relax or celebrate a special occasion. Grab your partner or a girlfriend, or go alone and book some time for yourselves at one of these top ten hotel spas in Texas.

Top Hotel Spas In Texas

1. The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas

The Ritz Carlton needs no explanation. This 5-star upscale hotel is new to Las Colinas, rebranding the Four Seasons Hotel into something magical for this location in North Texas. With its award-winning golf course, luxury spa, resort-style pool, and over-the-top restaurants, you’ll want to book a stay here sooner rather than later. The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas (Irving, TX) is a beautiful area near Dallas.

2. Lake Austin Spa Resort, Austin, TX

Austin is a city that is always on the move and is widely known for its vibrant music and cultural scene. So, it makes sense that Austin would also be home to one of the best spas in Texas. Whether you’re looking for a specific body treatment or wellness ritual or want to relax by the lake soaking up some sun, Lake Austin Spa Resort will take you there! There are several packages to choose from.

3. Grand Galvez Resort & Spa – Galveston Island

My son and I were recently invited to this hotel for one night so we could experience its Sunday Brunch, which was so good. Our short stay at Grand Galvez included brunch and the beach, but the spa was closed.

The beach is directly across the street, but if you’re staying at the hotel, it offers its private beach with umbrellas and tables that you can request, but they go fast. So, bring the family and let them play on the beach while you get a body treatment at the spa.

4. Hotel Emma – San Antonio

Hotel Emma, Texas’s only five-diamond hotel, and now a MICHELIN Two-Key hotel housed in a former 19th-century brewery, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025. Today officially marks the 10-month countdown, with November 12, 2025, marking a decade since the 146-room property opened in the heart of San Antonio’s vibrant Pearl community at the headwaters of the River Walk. Hotel Emma is an incredible getaway, whether flying or driving, this time of the year.

Hotel Emma is a luxurious riverfront flagship for Pearl’s culinary and cultural community on the northern edge of downtown San Antonio, located at the headwaters of the famed River Walk. The Pearl neighborhood is a walkable village with many restaurants, shopping, local markets, the just-opened Stable Hall music venue, and the Culinary Institute.

Hiatus Spa & Retreat

Hiatus Spa & Retreat’s location is just a few steps from Hotel Emma across Brewer’s Alley in the Cellars Residences building. This highly-regarded spa has 13 treatment rooms, a hydro-therapy room for Vichy shower treatments, a relaxation room, a nail therapy room with zero gravity chairs, and more.

5. Miraval Austin

After seeing this hotel on the Kelly Clarkson show, I’m betting this spa hotel will explode with guests.

If you watch the show, you may have seen The Traveling Mom’s recent segment about Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day. She mentioned that the Miraval would make a great girlfriend getaway.

Miraval Austin Resort & Spa sounds like a slice of heaven in the Texas Hill Country! They’ve thought of everything to pamper their guests, from rejuvenating massages and body wraps to invigorating yoga sessions. And with those pools, cabanas, and fitness centers, you could find the perfect balance between relaxation and activity.

Halotherapy at Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa

6. Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa – Frisco

The Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa is a fantastic destination for your bestie or better half! Its luxurious amenities, proximity to attractions like Grandscape and Nebraska Furniture Mart, and the ability to use Marriott Bonvoy points make it the ultimate getaway in Frisco.

My friend and I enjoyed our spa time. We relaxed and unwound in the lounge, got a massage, and relaxed even more. We tried Halotherapy, which benefits the body, mind, lungs, and skin. This was something neither of us had heard of. This machine helps with circulation, stress, colds, coughs, flu, skin conditions, and more. We thought it was one of the top hotel spas in Texas that we’ve been to.

7. The Adolphus Hotel – Dallas

The Spa Adolphus is the perfect relaxing oasis in the heart of bustling Dallas. Nestled within The Adolphus Autograph Collection, its extensive services offer a luxurious experience. From rejuvenating body wraps to soothing massage therapy, they have everything needed to unwind and pamper yourself. If you’re considering a visit, there are so many fantastic attractions in Dallas to visit.

8. The Ritz-Carton Dallas (McKinney Ave)

The Ritz-Carton Spa is top-notch. This day spa in Dallas offers signature treatments, including an indulgent eight-hand massage and Dean’s Margarita Salt Glow, facials, and more.

Hill Country Herb Garden Spa

9. Hill Country Herb Garden Spa – Fredericksburg

This Texas Hill County spa offers massages, facials, waxing, body treatments, and more. It also has a sauna and many enhancement options. The Hill Country Herb Garden is located in wine country, so you can have your wine and spa, too!!

Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa

10. Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa

If you are considering staying at this resort, its villas are spacious enough for two people. They have a small patio, a living room separate from the bedroom, and a double bathroom.

Carter Creek is a full-service spa open by appointment. It offers innovative treatments like a far-infrared sauna, deep tissue massage, and mineral baths. Facials, waxing, and couples massages are also provided.

If you prefer a resort-style experience, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa is an excellent option.
