1. San Angelo’s Visitor Center
Make San Angelo’s Visitor Center your first stop. It’s one of the most beautiful visiting centers I’ve ever laid eyes on. It may not look like it from the front, but when you see the back, you’ll see what I am talking about. It’s absolutely gorgeous back there, and it’s all free to roam. Take your time and let the little ones play and explore. It’s definitely one of the top attractions in San Angelo.
Additionally, the visit center is filled with brochures, books, souvenirs, coffee, and volunteers who can provide you with everything you need to know about the city. Restrooms are on the campus.
2. The Bosque in San Angelo
The Bosque is a lovely park located along the Concho River. It opens on Memorial Day and runs through the end of the summer. This park offers a variety of free and low-cost activities, including kayaking, miniature golf, paddle boats, Kona Ice, and more.

4. Fort Concho National Historic Landmark Site
Start your day at Historic Fort Concho. Fort Concho is a National Historic Landmark that encompasses most of the former Army post, featuring 24 original and restored fort structures, as well as additional exhibits and displays throughout the year.
