Who’s ready for the FIFA World Cup in North Texas next year?

With the FIFA World Cup 2026 arriving in North Texas June 11–July 19—and Dallas hosting a tournament‑high nine matches at AT&T Stadium—here’s a timely, high‑impact story. Explore these best hotels in Dallas for sports fans amid the exciting year ahead.

Hey sports fans, let’s turn up the heat in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2026. Beginning in June 2026, Arlington, TX, will host several matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. But North Texas is also the ultimate destination for sports fans. As the Dallas area is home to teams in nearly every league—Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Frisco RoughRiders—there’s never a dull moment for those who want in on the action.

Tourism is set to surge when the World Cup arrives in the DFW area next year. So, whether you’re preparing for FIFA next summer or any other sports, these hotels in North Texas might be the best places to stay.

Best Hotels in Dallas for Sports Fans

Native Dallasites will tell you that driving from one part of the area to another may be stressful — the treks from Frisco to Dallas, from Dallas to Arlington, and from Arlington back down to Plano are no smooth ride. But no matter which side of town you’re staying in, there’s a spot for the ultimate sports fan—where cheers, festive gear, and camaraderie among fans are highly encouraged.

1. Loews Arlington Hotel

888 Nolan Ryan Expy, Arlington

Loews Arlington Hotel is located steps away from AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, and is the go-to spot for Cowboys and Rangers fans. And yes, you’ll want to splurge on the suite experience, given that each suite has a living room space, ideally for watching games on the big screen and chatting with your friends. This living room space comes in addition to a lush, gorgeous bedroom with a soft bed and large windows offering views of the bustling sports district. For the kids, there’s a resort-style beach club with two swimming pools and a man-made beach, ideal for keeping them occupied while the adults watch the games.

Be sure to get your reservations in at the hotel’s in-house Italian restaurant, Farena. The paparadelle with bolognese is one of the best dishes the city has to offer.

2. Live! By Loews

1600 E Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, TX 76011

Those traveling without children will have a blast at the Loews’ sister hotel, Live! By Loews. Located within the park’s bar and restaurant district, Texas Live! By Loews boasts the same luxury as the Loews, but offers more of a lively atmosphere.

After the big game or the concert, keep the party going at the hotel’s outdoor bar, Arlington Clover Club. Or, visit Texas Live!, where bartenders pour drinks, and DJs spin tunes all night long. You won’t even need an Uber to get back to the hotel.

3. The Statler Dallas, Curio Collection By Hilton

1914 Commerce St, Dallas

Set in the heart of downtown, The Statler delivers visitors a slice of history. The Statler Dallas opened in 1956 — it turns 70 next year- and throughout its history, the hotel has hosted stars like Elvis Presley, The Jackson 5, and Tina Turner. Adjacent to the St. Paul/Arts District DART station, the American Airlines Center — home to the Mavericks, and for now, the Stars — all the action is just a 10-minute train ride away.

Each room at The Statler offers captivating views of downtown, with guests able to choose from Main Street Garden and Pool View options. The decor is mid-century modern, with soft beds and sleek sets. Whether you’re catching the game in person or at The Statler’s entertainment bar, Scout — which also has billiards and a bowling alley — sports and games are never too far away.

4. HALL Arts Hotel Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton

1717 Leonard St, Dallas

As its name suggests, the HALL Arts Hotel is situated within the Dallas Arts District. But it’s also an excellent hotel for those who appreciate the art of the game. Here, guests are just a quick ride away from the AAC, but after the game, fans can party in luxury, like the star athletes of their favorite teams. The lobby, as well as each room, is bedecked with spectacular works of art.

After coming home from the big game, guests can sleep in Frette linens. Or, dine like royalty at the hotel’s restaurant, Ellie’s, which serves up artistically crafted dishes and fabulous wine pairings.

5. HALL Park Frisco Hotel, Autograph Collection

3220 Internet Blvd, Frisco

While Frisco is a bit of a hike from many of the major stadiums and arenas, the HALL Park’s location in The Star will have you feeling like an MVP. Situated opposite Dallas Cowboys headquarters, HALL Park Hotel is always festive, with watch parties taking place in the nearby field, drinks and karaoke at Sidecar Social, and swimming at the rooftop pool.

Inside the rooms are lavish beds, large windows overlooking The Star, and a calming walk-in shower. The HALL Park’s gym is loaded with state-of-the-art equipment, including Peloton bikes. Downstairs at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Palato, guests can enjoy hearty Italian plates and wine pairings …and the best tiramisu you’ll ever have in your life.

6. Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa

4341 PGA Pkwy, Frisco

Seated upon the PGA of America Headquarters, the Omni PGA Frisco delivers an unmatched golfing experience. Guests can play on the hotel’s alluring green golf course. New to the game? The Omni PGA also offers a coaching center, where guests can receive lessons from PGA Master Professional Tim Cusick.

As is par for the course for any Omni hotel, guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, including the Rodeo-themed steak-and-seafood concept Trick Rider and the cozy bar eats spot The Apron. But while in town, guests aren’t going to want to miss out on getting some hearty Texas barbecue at the Omni PGA’s Ice House.

Try these six best hotels in Dallas for sports fans. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please let us know, and we will do our best to find a few more in the area.
